UK is failing to satisfy virtually all of its local weather motion targets


THE UK is failing to deal with local weather change on virtually all key measures of success, in keeping with the Committee on Local weather Change.

This organisation advises the UK authorities on methods to meet its legally binding goal of reducing carbon emissions by 80 per cent by 2050. As schoolchildren took to the streets to protest the UK’s lack of local weather motion on 15 February, the committee set out a dire image of the nation’s local weather insurance policies in a letter to Claire Perry, UK minister for power and clear development.
